My fiance' surprised me last week with an early wedding present. He said that he didn't want to wait till the day of the wedding so that I can learn how to use it before our trip to Maui. The first thing I did, of course, was order this to go with it...

Kelle Hampton's blog religiously and so in the spirit of being just like her I ordered the same camera strap, but in a different color. Her blog has made me laugh, cry, dream and certainly inspires me, so now with my new camera I feel like a whole new phase of life is coming on...

We went to Memphis this weekend to work with a dance instructor from
Fred Astaire dance studios for our first wedding song. (I'll post that video later today...) We have a lot of work to do on that...but,
One of my favorite parts of the weekend?? Eating at the Blue Plate Cafe'. It's one of those..." If you ever go to Memphis, you have to....!!! " places. I had chocolate chip pancakes; they were so good!!

ReplyDeleteYAY for the new camera! I have a Canon Rebel as well and LOOVE IT - it's just a little overwhelming at first, there is a lot to learn!
I am SO jealous! I am dying for a nice camera! I'm also really jealous you're going to Maui! And who am I kidding, I'm really jealous you're getting married! :o)
